The Bean

The Bean is a world famous Coffee Roastery, Espresso Bar and Café in Whakatane, New Zealand. Our customers come from all over the world to sample our wide range of varietals, roasted and blended to perfection. The Bean is also famous for its magnanimous barista and host, Simon, who will prepare your espresso coffee while you wait, to drink here or take away.

The Café

Located in the heart of the Whakatane "CBD", The Bean is a full service café popular with locals and visitors alike. The recently renovated café has extensive indoor and outdoor seating, a roasting room and a kitchen.
